Arts And Crafts At Oyster Fest

Find unique handcrafted items in arts and crafts and start your holiday shopping early. Housed in massive tents along the bay in Theodore Roosevelt Park, shoppers will find more than 140 artisans offering a variety of handmade items and collector pieces. Artists and designers come from all over the country to showcase their wares at The Oyster Festival. When an artist signs up for a booth, their booth fees support charitable efforts performed by the Oyster Bay Rotary.

“These coveted spots are nearly sold out each year by the third week of January, with the jewelry spots filling up first,” said Mel Warren, the arts and crafts coordinator since 1996, who began his relationship with the Oyster Festival in the early ’80s as a vendor himself, selling handmade leather crafts.
